Dave has nearly 15 years of experience assisting clients with their accounting and compliance needs including forensic accounting investigations, accounting interpretations, monitorships and internal controls assessments. He assists his clients with reporting to and negotiating with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice.
Key engagements
• Conducted and led numerous forensic accounting investigations into areas including revenue recognition, percentage-of-completion accounting, non-GAAP metrics, inventory, and asset capitalization.
• Member of multiple monitorship teams responsible for assessing company compliance with the FCPA, SEC disclosure rules, and environmental regulations.
• Successfully assisted in the defense of multiple corporations and individuals in SEC matters resulting in both reduced and dropped charges.
• Led multiple projects to assess, rationalize, and develop systems of internal controls under the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.
