Matt has more than 25 years of experience managing and analyzing large and complex data sets in support of litigation, corporate bankruptcies, and operational improvement initiatives. Matt's clients benefit from his wealth of experience from years as a litigation and management consultant, attorney, and database architect and programmer.
Since 2009, Matt has held key leadership positions on the AlixPartners engagement team, assisting the Trustee overseeing the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS). Matt currently leads a team that works with the BLMIS Trustee to manage claims, objections, settlements, avoidance actions, recoveries, and distributions to victims of Madoff's historic fraud. To date, the AlixPartners team has helped the Trustee settle more than 1,200 litigations and recover nearly $14.7 billion.
Matt received a Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School. Matt is a licensed attorney in California and Colorado and a member of various national, state, and local bar associations and litigation technology–related industry groups.
