SUMMARY
Jan has more than 20 years of experience in operational management roles and complex restructuring mandates, specializing in interim management and operational and financial restructuring. He has served clients in Europe as interim CEO, chief financial officer (CFO), and chief restructuring officer (CRO). Prior to joining AlixPartners, he led the global equity investment program of Bertelsmann, Europe’s largest media conglomerate. Jan has a PhD in business administration from the University of St.Gallen. He is a founding member of the Turnaround Management Association Germany and coauthored the book "Stakeholder Management in Restructuring."
