Dustin is a Director in the Investigations, Compliance & Privacy practice at AlixPartners, and is based in Washington D.C and New York City. Dustin enjoys being on the frontlines with clients to develop solutions to their most challenging accounting, regulatory, investigation, compliance, and litigation problems.
Dustin is an accomplished forensic accountant with more than 20 years of experience as an investigator, regulator, and auditor. He joined AlixPartners in 2023 after a decade as a Senior Enforcement Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. While at the SEC, he developed valuable subject matter expertise and performed a wide range of investigations involving financial reporting, issuer disclosure, internal controls, insider trading, complex offering frauds, and private fund investment advisers.
Dustin also testified in multiple U.S. District Courts on behalf of the Commission and, through his work at the SEC, has substantial experience in working with criminal law enforcement and other regulators, including the PCAOB and CFPB.
